HEAT OF THE WEEK

Hosi ya genge na magelegele is back again this week, remember we said leswo dyisiwa mbodza ahi lunghi ani? We are sticking by that na vhiki reri. It is also exciting to know that ti review hi ti endlaku ma ti yingisela and we can confirm that ku na a huge improvement ka vunanga bya nwina.

Without wasting anytime, we are here to give you our 1st HEAT OF THE WEEK ya lembe leri by Gmax. Gmax is also one of the promising acts ka TsongaRap that we believe can and will put the movement on the map. A Ndzi Nga Tshembhi, his latest offering is a song that gives us hope ka ngwenya leyi. Ya twala maturity ka music wa Gmax and it is not just dropping bars anymore, it is also delivering a message and making music that is listenable. Hi ku komisa, hiri tshikani ku endla music for your fellow artists marha ti fans ta nwina ti dya makanyi na mbodza, make music for the streets u tshika swa vu nigga nigga nwana mbava.

We have said this before that when the HOOK hooks you, then you are hooked for forever lol. You find yourself singing along to this track unintentionally, that ‘ A ndzi nga tshembi swi ta lungha, a ndzi nga tshembhi ni ta vuya’ hits different. You gotta have a dope HOOK in order to have a dope song and that is a fact.

PRODUCTION is way proper on this joint because it is easy to listen to, shout out to DNK THE PRODUCER for the BEAT. Swi clean and ku hava swikecekece swa unnecessary, I must also add kuri that guitar goes in for real. We are also very happy to see Gmax mixing and mastering his own music, it shows that he’s passionate about his craft and he is also giving it time to learn more than just the pen game. One session with a professional producer could turn him into a monster, mi taku ahi vulangi he nwina.

Swilo a swi se cinca na sweswo, music wo nandiha marha wu ri hava mongo wa karhalisa. And because a hi music wo cina cina lowi, at some point we need to hear what you are saying. CONTENT yi important ngopfu, on A Ndzi Nga Tshembhi Gmax decided to introduce his come back. I karhele ku loyiwa muyisa loyi, to point that he decided to sing about it. We are just happy that he is back and we hope more of music such this is on the way.

It is a tricky CONCEPT because he is on that ‘ I am back’ tip whilst also talking about the hardships he’s been facing, hi vula vuloyi na vukwele. You are not sure whether to cry or not, but you are definitely motivated to grind more that’s for sure. Hi ku komisa he’s managed to create a song that moves your EMOTIONS depending on the situation you are at in your life, that is very impressive.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you our HEAT OF THE WEEK by Gmax titled A Ndzi Nga Tshembhi. If you don’t find yourself singing along or whistling on this hook, ka nwina va loya. But anyway if you have a piece of mind you would like to share, hi phemeli kwala ka comment box a hansi. Hi khensa nseketelo wa nwina, #gasi

HEAT OF THE WEEK

Avuxeni, let me give you a lil background hi artist leyi before ni nghena ka HEAT OF THE WEEK. He could be new ka genge ya Tsongarap but he is not new in the game and has also worked with prominent artists, Romeo Thegreat, Unarams and Kinglutendo to name a few. He actually has about 3 projects on his name and I also got a chance to listen to them. I will drop the links of them for you guys mi nga worry ani?

So mo hi TSHUKUNYUKA hi landza HEAT OF THE WEEK, yes the title of his latest jam is TSHUKUNYUKA. Xitsonga urban sound is really nice vanhu va hosi, especially if you get someone who is also able to play around hi LANGUAGE. His QUALITY is too nice, swi audible swilo swa ngwenya leyi and I wouldn’t expect anything less from him. I also love the fact that he is coming with a new SOUND, I can not think of anyone wa mutsonga doing this sound hi xitsonga. His production is too clean, aswi nyakapfalangi swilo swa yena. BEAT yi twala kahle, his autotune ayi tunguli and also the way he goes in shows maturity. His verses, hooks and bridges and also the transition will definitely get you glued up on your speakers.

Before you listen to the song, just know kuri a kuna XIGUBU xa la, El Moose u vulavula hi masangu. Ku tshukunyuka loku a hiku cina ntsena i ku cina na vusiku, he further said ‘uta xkuma lexi uxi lavaku’ which also gives me assurity ku yi vulavula hi masango boti leyi. Having said all this, the beauty of this song is that ku hava nhlamba and it is also radio friendly. Sounds like I am contradicting myself ne? well listen for yourself ke. Hosi ya #genge yi gimeta kwala

HEAT OF THE WEEK

If you drop and we don’t post, it ain’t dope so don’t get high over that. Also, hi karhele ku reviewer mbodza wa vhiki hina phela swa tungula he nwina. Anyway, we dropping because there’s a new heat in town, ani leswi swa ti award to phuta hi nge swikoti ( news for another day though,we coming for them).

Welcome back Gmax, been a while since the game hear his shit. One of the most promising tsongarappers to blow. We don’t know what happened, maybe i magelegele, or he got demotivated hi genge or it is one of those moments every artist goes through swo tirha u nga humeleli. Hina we are just happy a nigga is back, khale hi yimeli album ya yena and it seems like Patmesh(produsoro) u yi deletini lol, ho bula maybe he is still cooking a hi tivi.

Xitayela Xa Mahala is self explanatory, he is just back testing the waters kuri waha fit(a) na. And GelegeleMusic does approve, we are still digging the style and we are also loving the new trapping Gmax. The LANGUAGE is lacking compared to what he is capable of but we know he is just teasing, phela swa tika ku famba u vuya, swa tika ku va xivuye he vanhu va hosi.

The BEAT is dope, but what you will recognize knowing him is that the mastering/quality is not the same. Someone close to him told us he is doing it by himself and we are happy that artists are doing more than just write LYRICS, ‘He is doing all the work by himself, mastering has become one of his favorite things now’ says his homie.

It is a jam for a weekend, it is also one for the streets so it might make a buzz but it is one of those that he needs a back up plan for. Maybe a remix would do or a video so that hina vo Thomas hi kholwa hi ku vona kuri he is back. Wait, don’t you wanna hear the song yourself? Link hi leyi, twana HEAT OF THE WEEK ya Gelegelemusic. HEAT OF THE WEEK

‘YOUR REVIEWS DONT MATTER NTWANA U MBALE BLOMAS’……………………

Minga chuhwi aku vuliwi GelegeleMusic, hina hi khome game hi swandla hahaha. Our HEAT OF THE WEEK is a song titled King by InnoMmas ft Mchangani, mo hi nghena mhakeni hi ku swi havahava.

InnoMmas got a feature with one of the greats ka Tsongarap and boy did not waste it. Xa karhata hi FLOW xiyisa he nwina, his recording technique kumbe produsoro wa yena knows what he’s doing and I say this because fast as he is, he is AUDIBLE. Vonwina a mi twali when you flow like this, and this is one thing that makes your songs whack. We also had a chat with him live on Facebook about working with Mchangani and how the feature came about, famba vona link hi leyi. https://m.facebook.com/groups/tsongarap/permalink/4343054829089214/

My review matter hi ku ani mbali blomas hahaha boti a yi kwatini himpela. Mchangani came through with a fire verse, he really wanted to put his BARS where his mouth is. Dope wordplay and he came through with that vintage Mchangani FLOW. Ani a mi lava ku tiva kuri why a ti vitana TsongaRap pioneer, so he’s back on that element yo rapper and hina swa hi tsakisa leswi.

It’s a dope song, CONCEPT allows them to go anywhere with it. You can prove why you are a KING, you can show your dope FLOWS or you can also tell genge what’s on your chest. We are not happy though hi usage ya LANGUAGE, xa chavisa Xitsonga ne? The BEAT is insane, it has been a while since Cleinbouy produced a beat like this and I must say he came through. We are also hoping Mchangani will be dropping something new very soon, and maybe also work with more Tsongarappers, I think their energy will bring back that spark in him.

It is our HEAT OF THE WEEK, here’s a link below and also tell us what you think of the song on the comment section. Gelegelemusic yi koka gasi, #genge

HEAT OF THE WEEK

Va chava ku humesa ka tsongarap hiku chava mbodza, which is good. We rather have less music than more gabage, and yes our job is to call you out until you drop HEATS only he majita. Anyway, we had to go out searching to find something new. New in terms of sound, new in terms of names and also we are happy to tell you that we got a bit of less used CONCEPT which was refreshing. Vo nwina mi yimbelela hi swilo swinwe ntsena, if it is not a song about girls, i vusiwana and if not that it is a dedication song hina hi karhele.

Valala va mina is our song this week that we feel it has more depth than any other dropped, loko mi kaneta tisani swinwani hitwa. The Man of Cassinova better known as TMC is a rapper from Diepsloot and a founder of The Outer Space Records. Might be new to our ears but not to the game, he has worked with rappers like Surprise Bee, Mo Love, Nk Vortex, ChezMan and Kay Murdur. And now I have heard that he is working on the project with Lady Presh for his upcoming Album.

Horight, ani sweswi hava tiva svara, ahi tweni ntirho wa vona ke. One thing that caught my ear is the QUALITY, you can tell kuri genge yi teka ntirho wa yona serious and we are happy with that. BEAT is clean which also makes the vocals audible, what I like the most iku they did not force to sound American, hi yona TSONGATRAP phela leyi. We are also impressed hi usage ya LANGUAGE, I mean what better way to define tsongatrap/rap than the language itself? HOOK is a nice sing along and also the verses are easy to listen to. If TMC keeps at this, uta khomisa genge xivixivi himpela. He is also featuring a guy by the name of Canicee who came through on the second verse with a dope FLOW that gave the song life, yingiselani na CONTENT rinsimu mita ri enjoya.

This is easily our HEAT OF THE WEEK because everything is put on the right place from PRODUCTION, CONTENT(LYRICS) to LANGUAGE. We wish to hear more songs like this, and we hope they feed us more. Give it an ear and tell us what you think, ra twala kumbe ho babamela? Here’s the link below

HEAT OF THE WEEK

When the greats meet the song must be enormous, get it? ThaGreat and InnoMmas? It wasn’t hard was it?…yeah yeah I thought as much. It is not the 1st time featuring InnoMmas ka gelegelemusic, and I am happy to announce that on both occasions u endle ntirho wa kahle. Ti review leti is for artists to improve and also keep up, hi karhele hi mbodza hina so we hope na genge ya nyuwani are following the easy steps to make a HEAT OF THE WEEK. It has been a while since he dropped something so we definitely needed a heat, otherwise why wait for long ivi I humesa mbodza?. The boy went on to get a dope ass feature, Romeo TheGreat is a well known Venda artist who has been making waves, his voice is so unique and also powerful. Yi khomi game ya le Venda hi tiwacheni ngwenya leyi and I foresee greatness, he’s gonna blow like a Pakistan( I don’t need ku hlela line leyi ani). Kanwe, the title of the song is an emotional rollercoaster and I was a bit skeptical knowing the background of InnoMmas who’s a trapper, he’s always had the jumpy energy which sometimes can fuck up a song like this. Marha, niri marha, ngwenya was in pain. It is the 1st time I have heard this boy so calm and wanted to engage hiti EMOTIONS before the LYRICS, you can tell kuri muyisa a koka ribye hi tissue yo tsakama. Boy spoke of the failure to graduate a xikolweni and being suicidal also, sure it was one of the toughest moment in his life knowing kuri genge ya le switandini will put unnecessary pressure on you. I also hope this song is a sign of his prosperity and also making it out of the dark cloud he has been in, it is also great to see/hear trappers tap on the emotional side instead swavo skrr skrr all the time. Emotionally his verse takes it, however you gotta give it to Vha-Venda when it comes to the FLOW. Ngwenya ayo rhetela he nwina, and I also loved the fact that he did not miss the CONCEPT which is basically about living once (Kanwe) and also pushing through the troubles we face ka vutomi lebyi. He also mentioned YOLO ( you only live once) a couple of times, and also said he’s about to drop an album. Kumbe ho hlela ngopfu swilo but it sounded like a title of the album he’s planning to drop or perhaps a song, we will be waiting for that he Romeo wahi kolota. LANGUAGE vari va mbirhi is a bit lacking, I think InnoMmas is just comfortable in expressing himself hi xilunghu so that’s the part he needs to work on. Romeo also did not go hard hi Tshivenda, I would have loved some Venda sauce. But I did catch the line ya ‘hi hanya kanwe that’s always my motto/Athi tshili vhutshilo sa tshidimela tshikha tshiporo’ ,which basically means you gotta make your own decisions u tshika kuva ‘torokisi’ a follower. PRODUCTION the song slaps, it is easy to listen to and thanks to Ntsakobeats for that. Yes he does have the same flow and I blame this to Ntsakobeats, maybe outside his studio and with a different producer he might give us something new. However, without Ntsakobeats InnoMmas would struggle no doubt. He also has QUALITY ka vunanga bya yena and he is audible even when he has the ‘mumbling’ style of rapping, and all thanks to Ntsakobeats hiku vo you swamitsandza. I am sure you are wondering kuri hi themendhela no sandza njhani in one line, well because we can and ahi chuhwangi ani. I am glad to present to you my fellow genge na magelegele the HEAT OF THE WEEK. Here’s your link mitwa how to make a HEAT, don’t forget to share your thoughts!!!!

HEAT OF THE WEEK

After a hard search, the team came back with a song that we are sure it is the only song that should be making waves and I am saying should because genge is out there praising Mbodza and making it difficult to hear good music. Kasi why mi rhandza ku trendisa mbodza he bafo? Well that will change because hi vuyile and y’all already know ku mbodza ahi twanani na wona. Uta Ndzi Rila by DeeNKay is a heat he nwina, why is it not trending? Kumbe marketing ya ngwenya leyi ayi sasekangi? Kumbe ami vo Kanye swa Good Music aswi ngheni kahle tindleveni?. Well you know we can’t say it’s a HEAT without justifying that right?now kokani gasi and listen carefully himi byela. DeeNKay has always stood out from the rest because of his use of the LANGUAGE. The BEAT is sick and I heard he produces his own beats as well. For this is by far the hottest Tsonga rap song so far this year because we haven’t had a lot going this year unlike last year. It is almost as if TsongaRap is dormant this year, you can also blame us since we were not there to push ani lol. The CONCEPT is also relevant also and his LYRICS have direction, I can also feel the EMOTIONS kumbe vhele ngwenya vayi tshikini? Someone please let me know because I am convinced the lyrics are from the heart which is what most of the artists lack. ‘wo ni cincela ninga xavangi?u hleketa njhani ku ninga sala ninga swavangi?’ that line took me he nwina, phela i khale mahi xanisa magelegele. DeeNKay ‘Jay Z’d’ the song, ni vula ku he made it ‘CRY’. Trust me if the BEAT is nice, the HOOK is catching, the LANGUAGE used efficiently, and the CONCEPT(LYRICS) is dope and relevant there is no way the song does not hit. Mjolo wu hi nyisa hinkwenu and for a second I thought of my EX,I know xa ni rila where ever she is. Anyway, hina hi nga dyeriwa we know the song is a HEAT and we giving it 8/10 rating. Having said that, you know we love your input so comment on the section below mi hi byela mavonelo ya nwina. Gelegelemusic is BACK!!!!!!!!!

NHLEKETA WENA REMIX

The team has been long waiting for this, khale hi chumayila hi dyondzisa Tsongarap. There is a reason we love this Tsongarap, kuna signature and it does not or should not sound like any other. Starting from how we FLOW and also the BEAT we choose to jump on. Swi fika ka the CONCEPT/CONTENT we deliver and also the usage ya LANGUAGE ya Xitsonga. NHLEKETA WENA ticked all the boxes, I mean all the boxes and we are happy to say Tsongarap ya hanya. HEAT OF THE WEEK, kule na mbodza and here is why. 1. QUALITY- I am very impressed hi mastering ya Makheveza, these vocals are clean AF ende na autotune ayi tunguli. For a track recorded from different studios, it is hard to hear the difference and this shows kuri ngwenya ayiri busy blind. 2. BEAT- I still need to find out who is on the beat because this is just too much, a breath of fresh air ka Tsongarap hayi swikoti-koti swa genge. 3. FLOW- swa nyanyula ku yingisela nghoma that has different flows, swi chela ku hisa when you listen to a song with a ‘I cant wait to hear his flow’ attitude and this song has that starting from the 1st verse until the end. Wait before niya ka number 4, ni vulavula hi risimu ra Makheveza featuring Leo Bee, Slim D and DeeBoy called nhleketa wena aniri. Hooright ahi yeni, number 4 i CONCEPT- this is not new ka tsongarap and we have heard this before, however the CONTENT is different, I mean swilo swa genge swa twala maan. Since hiri ka CONTENT, it will be bogus if we do not mention Leo Bee and what he did to the poor BEAT shem. ‘u endla swindleka,u matimba ya ngwenya phe wena u mati/with you i flooow in this river of love i’m giving a damn now’, this is a double entedre that got me on my feels. Kambe genge yi rhandza RAP but does not know ku double entedre swivula yini? Dyondza, it means this phrase is open to 2 interpretations kumbe yina double meaning hiku komisi. loko hiku munhu i mati hi vula leswaku u xongile, and he connected that with matimba ya ngwenya. Finished it off hiku ‘i flow in this river of love i’m giving a damn now’ , his damn means giving a fuck and could also be connected to NGWENYA, MATI, FLOW and DAM…..see what he did there? Tell me, king ya nwina ya swikota leswi? Yup I thought as much. Loko maha kanakana he also hit you with another line ya Old Mutual where he said ‘That’s my INSURANCE that you are the one for me/We’ll be OLD and MUTUAL the feeling will be for we’. This again shows kuri the producer, Makheveza listened very well to the verse to have it as the 1st verse. The packaging is very dope, however I am still not impressed that he chose to be squeezed in the middle. Verse ya Makheveza is not impressive and I felt like he was too lazy or too relaxed considering the niggaz he featured. However the smart move was to have DeeBoy finish it off, I can’t say a lot about this guy because since I said he is what Tsongarap should sound anise challengiwa so it means ni right. 5. LANGUAGE- was used very well, and I was impressed hi Leo Bee since he is the one between the 3 that uses English more but on this jam he was consistent and his dope lines or bars were delivered hi Xitsonga. The song has BARS, the song has a dope QUALITY,the CONTENT is matured hayi swa genge, the FLOW is easy to the ear and lastly the BEAT complimented all that. So swi obvious kuri leyi i HEAT OF THE WEEK and whoever releases after this must be very sure hi ntirho wa yena. This is a 9/10 for me, 1 was stolen by Gelegele Music hiku ka class leyi aku biwi total. Wait before I forget, mi byela DeeBoy a tshika ku hlantswa Panty please. Nta koka gasi ni yimela genge yi babamela, Hosi ya Genge ya Valulavula!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GRATEFUL

It warms my heart loko genge yi tsala kumbe ku yimbelela of things that they have been through and be grateful of what they have achieved. This again shows how hard jitas have been working, how long they have been wanting this and how much effort they are willing to put on just to see the positive results. Chester Filder is a Venda dude who is no stranger to Tsongarap, u tirhe na genge yo tala ka game leyi and I think he is now sitting comfortably a ndlwini ya Tsongarap. If I did not know better I would say he is getting more support from Tsongarap than le kaya ra yena, and this goes to show kuri ha hlayisa hina ahi swona? Anyway, Chester dropped a single featuring Gmax and Makheveza called GRATEFUL and I must say that the boys came through. There was no pressure, the CONCEPT allowed them to express themselves too. Gmax on the HOOK killed it, right after that he also jumped on the 1st verse and did what we know him for. The writing skill ka Gorilla is forever growing, his usage ya LANGUAGE is unmatched ka Tsongarap and GELEGELE MUSIC is grateful…..See what I did there? As the owner of the song, Chester Filder was supposed to either start or finish the track than ‘sausaging’ his verse. I am not saying he was scared, but it was a smart move because even if you did not like his verse you would not skip it since you had to go to the last verse ya Makheveza. I just love ririmi ra vha-Venda and when I say ririmi ni vula pronunciation ya marito ma vona not necessary the language itself, and it also sounds easy to rhyme hi Tshivenda as well. Makhevesa did what is expected of someone on the last verse, yi dlayelerini ngwenya ya le switandini. ‘When we started C-siders,vanga believe vanhooo/We gave Madjozi a new feature, vanganwu tivi vanhooo/Xikwembu leswa kahle tisa, vanga believe valoyi/’ I knew right there and then that the track is dead, hambi Madjozi u kwini to give the duo a feature, ni vula C-siders lol. Oh someone told me kuri ari Salema na Dokodela and I wonder if she knew that it is a walking distance to C-side. Anyhow, GRATEFUL is our HEAT OF THE WEEK because it has ticked most if not all of our boxes. The LANGUAGE was used very well, of course Gmax was in it. The BEAT matched the energy of the song and the CONCEPT really invited us to listen. FLOWS are different and swa tsakisa ku yingisela a song with variety, however it is not really BAR-coded but everything else was done great and this includes the QUALITY considering that all three verses were recorded from different venues. So hiku komisa hi grateful, and we have given this an 8/10. Go listen mi tshika kuva ungrateful, share your comments and subscribe to get notifications loko hi drop content hiri kari hi cakunya genge… Gasi mba!!!!!!!!!!

HAMENI

I swear the team will kill for this lol, and yes I got my reasons why this is our HEAT OF THE WEEK and I will definitely share that with you. Genge yi chuhwini already lol ‘gelegele choosing a mumble rap song as a heat of the week?’ who would have thought. Uglyraps aint audible and we can not shy away from that, i khale hi vulavula but swa tika phela ku tshika vugenge hahaha. However, it will be bias of us if we overlook other aspects that make a song our HEAT OF THE WEEK. When it comes to FLOWS, he is always coming up with something fresh and TSONGARAP lacks loko swi fika ka swilo swo fana na sweswo. Songs sound the same when it comes to flows and concepts, everyone wants to have a love song, a sad song that speaks of kuhlupheka or a diss song. Then comes Mabihani (Uglyraps), has his own style, i bihi ari yexe, has his own flows and comes with different CONCEPTS compared to the trending ones. SWAMATSONGA which is his home has always been good loko swi fika ka QUALITY, S/O to DeeNKay for the production. Uglyraps has also been good when it comes to choosing his BEATS, so unique to the usual sound ya Tsongarap and it is refreshing phela swa tungula ku yingisela the same thing over and over again. hiku komisa I mean a lot of beat makers ka tsongarap va xota versatility so their beats sound the same, ni vurini ni dlayeni once ke. I only do not like 3 things in this song, and it has been failing this dude since he came through in the game. The usage ya LANGUAGE lacks big time, swa tsandza ku trapper hi XITSONGA and he rarely uses it and that to me means he can not represent Magona (a village he is from). I doubt his village will connect to the sound he makes and we know kuri charity begins at home, and the other thing I have been saying throughout his songs iku anga twali. And lastly, what I feel if he works hard on it he will stand out is BARS, that is one thing he hardly has on all his songs. As much as the flow, the beat and the quality is dope,we still gotta hear what you saying and it will be hard for people to give him a second or 3rd listen all because of that. The team gave this one a 5.1/10 which makes it a HEAT OF THE WEEK. Go ahead and rate it yourself, mina I listened to it for more than 3 days and I must say I sometimes find myself mumbling with this Ugly rapper lol. Genge yi tsakini, mbodza hi ta vula hinge chavi ani!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS
