Hosi ya Magelegele na Genge.

HEAT OF THE WEEK

Hosi ya genge na magelegele is back again this week, remember we said leswo dyisiwa mbodza ahi lunghi ani? We are sticking by that na vhiki reri. It is also exciting to know that ti review hi ti endlaku ma ti yingisela and we can confirm that ku na a huge improvement ka vunanga bya nwina.

Without wasting anytime, we are here to give you our 1st HEAT OF THE WEEK ya lembe leri by Gmax. Gmax is also one of the promising acts ka TsongaRap that we believe can and will put the movement on the map. A Ndzi Nga Tshembhi, his latest offering is a song that gives us hope ka ngwenya leyi. Ya twala maturity ka music wa Gmax and it is not just dropping bars anymore, it is also delivering a message and making music that is listenable. Hi ku komisa, hiri tshikani ku endla music for your fellow artists marha ti fans ta nwina ti dya makanyi na mbodza, make music for the streets u tshika swa vu nigga nigga nwana mbava.

We have said this before that when the HOOK hooks you, then you are hooked for forever lol. You find yourself singing along to this track unintentionally, that ‘ A ndzi nga tshembi swi ta lungha, a ndzi nga tshembhi ni ta vuya’ hits different. You gotta have a dope HOOK in order to have a dope song and that is a fact.

PRODUCTION is way proper on this joint because it is easy to listen to, shout out to DNK THE PRODUCER for the BEAT. Swi clean and ku hava swikecekece swa unnecessary, I must also add kuri that guitar goes in for real. We are also very happy to see Gmax mixing and mastering his own music, it shows that he’s passionate about his craft and he is also giving it time to learn more than just the pen game. One session with a professional producer could turn him into a monster, mi taku ahi vulangi he nwina.

Swilo a swi se cinca na sweswo, music wo nandiha marha wu ri hava mongo wa karhalisa. And because a hi music wo cina cina lowi, at some point we need to hear what you are saying. CONTENT yi important ngopfu, on A Ndzi Nga Tshembhi Gmax decided to introduce his come back. I karhele ku loyiwa muyisa loyi, to point that he decided to sing about it. We are just happy that he is back and we hope more of music such this is on the way.

It is a tricky CONCEPT because he is on that ‘ I am back’ tip whilst also talking about the hardships he’s been facing, hi vula vuloyi na vukwele. You are not sure whether to cry or not, but you are definitely motivated to grind more that’s for sure. Hi ku komisa he’s managed to create a song that moves your EMOTIONS depending on the situation you are at in your life, that is very impressive.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you our HEAT OF THE WEEK by Gmax titled A Ndzi Nga Tshembhi. If you don’t find yourself singing along or whistling on this hook, ka nwina va loya. But anyway if you have a piece of mind you would like to share, hi phemeli kwala ka comment box a hansi. Hi khensa nseketelo wa nwina, #gasi

WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nita xeweta sweswi, yimani nyana ni ku happy happy happy happy 2022 !!!!!!!!!!!!. Hiri xewani vatsonga vaka hina, We hope the cross over was dope. Last year was tough but we marched through, mbita yi tiya hi ndzilo so I know it only made us tougher. Before we get into the HEAT OF THE WEEK, MBODZA WA VHIKI and what GelegeleMusic has for you this year, I’d like to thank each and everyone of you for the support. You coming here to read the articles and share them with your people means a lot to us as Gelegelemusic, and because of that we promise to keep the ship running. And we will do so without fear or favor ani leswo biwa hi toloverini lol.

Quick reminder to genge, ani ahi lavi mundzuku munhu a kwata loko a chaya mbodza hiku we will say it out loud .If you need a HEAT OF THE WEEK you gotta follow these important steps.

1.QUALITY- hi karhele hi quality ya le xitangeni, so fakani effort vanhu va hosi. Make it easy for our ears, hina vanwani se hi kurini maxaka.

2. CONTENT- Quality yo kala mongo na yona ayi dyisi ni, so you gotta talk to us. Hi kombela substance whether it is a fun song or one to the heart, your LYRICS represent you and there’s no 2ways about it.

3. LANGUAGE- Phela Gele2Music i kaya ra Urban Xitsonga Music, which simply means we gotta promote our language at the end of the day. Ya nandiha Afropop hi Xitsonga, House, HipHop, RnB you name it. So give us all these u phyeta Ririmi Ra Manana hitwa chukela.

4. PRODUCTION- It is easy to overlook point number (1) if you put effort ka production he majaha na nwina vo sesi, try and get mastered BEATS, get you a produsoro loyi a ngata basisa ntirho wa wena. Mastering is very critical because it can make or break the song, so be careful who you give your work to polish.

5. HOOK- This one here is my favorite and here is why. If and when a hook has been done right, a dope sing along that makes people think or dance, I swear that is a heat. The plan is to capture one’s emotions ka music he nwina, leswo tala va hemba. Which brings us to our last point.

6. EMOTIONS- Why must a sad song make me happy? no wait… why do you sound happy but you spitting emotional content? How do you want me to feel when I listen to your song/lyrics? Capture my emotions and take me to a place where you want me then you have a heat. The FLOW, the sadness/happiness in your voice will direct me where you want me so pay attention loko mi recorder.

Without these 6 steps, utlangi mbodza so do not even bother dropping because GelegeleMusic will chew you. This year, just like any other year we wont be doing no favors. Mbodza i mbodza and we will state it as that.

Anyway, because we love you and we wont make you read a music article without you listening to one, here is one artist that we believe has the formula. He has done TRAP, he has done Amapiano, TsongaRap and also Afropop. To also add, he has done all these hi Xitsonga which is impressive. Anyway, we wont say much about his latest release Nsati Wa Mina ft Blvc Vce. Ezzi has been promising to drop since forever, we hope it was worth the wait. Ve va lava ku dropa na mixtape svara, hi le gasini hi yimili. Anyway, let us not rate this one actually, we want you the people to use the criteria above and let us know if this dude got it right or not. i MBODZA kumbe HEAT OF THE WEEK na? comment section yi kona. Hina va gelegelemusic hi koka gasi hi yimela ti heat. hiri gelegelegelegelegelegelegeleeeee raaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NHLEKETA WENA REMIX

The team has been long waiting for this, khale hi chumayila hi dyondzisa Tsongarap. There is a reason we love this Tsongarap, kuna signature and it does not or should not sound like any other. Starting from how we FLOW and also the BEAT we choose to jump on. Swi fika ka the CONCEPT/CONTENT we deliver and also the usage ya LANGUAGE ya Xitsonga. NHLEKETA WENA ticked all the boxes, I mean all the boxes and we are happy to say Tsongarap ya hanya. HEAT OF THE WEEK, kule na mbodza and here is why. 1. QUALITY- I am very impressed hi mastering ya Makheveza, these vocals are clean AF ende na autotune ayi tunguli. For a track recorded from different studios, it is hard to hear the difference and this shows kuri ngwenya ayiri busy blind. 2. BEAT- I still need to find out who is on the beat because this is just too much, a breath of fresh air ka Tsongarap hayi swikoti-koti swa genge. 3. FLOW- swa nyanyula ku yingisela nghoma that has different flows, swi chela ku hisa when you listen to a song with a ‘I cant wait to hear his flow’ attitude and this song has that starting from the 1st verse until the end. Wait before niya ka number 4, ni vulavula hi risimu ra Makheveza featuring Leo Bee, Slim D and DeeBoy called nhleketa wena aniri. Hooright ahi yeni, number 4 i CONCEPT- this is not new ka tsongarap and we have heard this before, however the CONTENT is different, I mean swilo swa genge swa twala maan. Since hiri ka CONTENT, it will be bogus if we do not mention Leo Bee and what he did to the poor BEAT shem. ‘u endla swindleka,u matimba ya ngwenya phe wena u mati/with you i flooow in this river of love i’m giving a damn now’, this is a double entedre that got me on my feels. Kambe genge yi rhandza RAP but does not know ku double entedre swivula yini? Dyondza, it means this phrase is open to 2 interpretations kumbe yina double meaning hiku komisi. loko hiku munhu i mati hi vula leswaku u xongile, and he connected that with matimba ya ngwenya. Finished it off hiku ‘i flow in this river of love i’m giving a damn now’ , his damn means giving a fuck and could also be connected to NGWENYA, MATI, FLOW and DAM…..see what he did there? Tell me, king ya nwina ya swikota leswi? Yup I thought as much. Loko maha kanakana he also hit you with another line ya Old Mutual where he said ‘That’s my INSURANCE that you are the one for me/We’ll be OLD and MUTUAL the feeling will be for we’. This again shows kuri the producer, Makheveza listened very well to the verse to have it as the 1st verse. The packaging is very dope, however I am still not impressed that he chose to be squeezed in the middle. Verse ya Makheveza is not impressive and I felt like he was too lazy or too relaxed considering the niggaz he featured. However the smart move was to have DeeBoy finish it off, I can’t say a lot about this guy because since I said he is what Tsongarap should sound anise challengiwa so it means ni right. 5. LANGUAGE- was used very well, and I was impressed hi Leo Bee since he is the one between the 3 that uses English more but on this jam he was consistent and his dope lines or bars were delivered hi Xitsonga. The song has BARS, the song has a dope QUALITY,the CONTENT is matured hayi swa genge, the FLOW is easy to the ear and lastly the BEAT complimented all that. So swi obvious kuri leyi i HEAT OF THE WEEK and whoever releases after this must be very sure hi ntirho wa yena. This is a 9/10 for me, 1 was stolen by Gelegele Music hiku ka class leyi aku biwi total. Wait before I forget, mi byela DeeBoy a tshika ku hlantswa Panty please. Nta koka gasi ni yimela genge yi babamela, Hosi ya Genge ya Valulavula!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GRATEFUL

It warms my heart loko genge yi tsala kumbe ku yimbelela of things that they have been through and be grateful of what they have achieved. This again shows how hard jitas have been working, how long they have been wanting this and how much effort they are willing to put on just to see the positive results. Chester Filder is a Venda dude who is no stranger to Tsongarap, u tirhe na genge yo tala ka game leyi and I think he is now sitting comfortably a ndlwini ya Tsongarap. If I did not know better I would say he is getting more support from Tsongarap than le kaya ra yena, and this goes to show kuri ha hlayisa hina ahi swona? Anyway, Chester dropped a single featuring Gmax and Makheveza called GRATEFUL and I must say that the boys came through. There was no pressure, the CONCEPT allowed them to express themselves too. Gmax on the HOOK killed it, right after that he also jumped on the 1st verse and did what we know him for. The writing skill ka Gorilla is forever growing, his usage ya LANGUAGE is unmatched ka Tsongarap and GELEGELE MUSIC is grateful…..See what I did there? As the owner of the song, Chester Filder was supposed to either start or finish the track than ‘sausaging’ his verse. I am not saying he was scared, but it was a smart move because even if you did not like his verse you would not skip it since you had to go to the last verse ya Makheveza. I just love ririmi ra vha-Venda and when I say ririmi ni vula pronunciation ya marito ma vona not necessary the language itself, and it also sounds easy to rhyme hi Tshivenda as well. Makhevesa did what is expected of someone on the last verse, yi dlayelerini ngwenya ya le switandini. ‘When we started C-siders,vanga believe vanhooo/We gave Madjozi a new feature, vanganwu tivi vanhooo/Xikwembu leswa kahle tisa, vanga believe valoyi/’ I knew right there and then that the track is dead, hambi Madjozi u kwini to give the duo a feature, ni vula C-siders lol. Oh someone told me kuri ari Salema na Dokodela and I wonder if she knew that it is a walking distance to C-side. Anyhow, GRATEFUL is our HEAT OF THE WEEK because it has ticked most if not all of our boxes. The LANGUAGE was used very well, of course Gmax was in it. The BEAT matched the energy of the song and the CONCEPT really invited us to listen. FLOWS are different and swa tsakisa ku yingisela a song with variety, however it is not really BAR-coded but everything else was done great and this includes the QUALITY considering that all three verses were recorded from different venues. So hiku komisa hi grateful, and we have given this an 8/10. Go listen mi tshika kuva ungrateful, share your comments and subscribe to get notifications loko hi drop content hiri kari hi cakunya genge… Gasi mba!!!!!!!!!!

HAMENI

I swear the team will kill for this lol, and yes I got my reasons why this is our HEAT OF THE WEEK and I will definitely share that with you. Genge yi chuhwini already lol ‘gelegele choosing a mumble rap song as a heat of the week?’ who would have thought. Uglyraps aint audible and we can not shy away from that, i khale hi vulavula but swa tika phela ku tshika vugenge hahaha. However, it will be bias of us if we overlook other aspects that make a song our HEAT OF THE WEEK. When it comes to FLOWS, he is always coming up with something fresh and TSONGARAP lacks loko swi fika ka swilo swo fana na sweswo. Songs sound the same when it comes to flows and concepts, everyone wants to have a love song, a sad song that speaks of kuhlupheka or a diss song. Then comes Mabihani (Uglyraps), has his own style, i bihi ari yexe, has his own flows and comes with different CONCEPTS compared to the trending ones. SWAMATSONGA which is his home has always been good loko swi fika ka QUALITY, S/O to DeeNKay for the production. Uglyraps has also been good when it comes to choosing his BEATS, so unique to the usual sound ya Tsongarap and it is refreshing phela swa tungula ku yingisela the same thing over and over again. hiku komisa I mean a lot of beat makers ka tsongarap va xota versatility so their beats sound the same, ni vurini ni dlayeni once ke. I only do not like 3 things in this song, and it has been failing this dude since he came through in the game. The usage ya LANGUAGE lacks big time, swa tsandza ku trapper hi XITSONGA and he rarely uses it and that to me means he can not represent Magona (a village he is from). I doubt his village will connect to the sound he makes and we know kuri charity begins at home, and the other thing I have been saying throughout his songs iku anga twali. And lastly, what I feel if he works hard on it he will stand out is BARS, that is one thing he hardly has on all his songs. As much as the flow, the beat and the quality is dope,we still gotta hear what you saying and it will be hard for people to give him a second or 3rd listen all because of that. The team gave this one a 5.1/10 which makes it a HEAT OF THE WEEK. Go ahead and rate it yourself, mina I listened to it for more than 3 days and I must say I sometimes find myself mumbling with this Ugly rapper lol. Genge yi tsakini, mbodza hi ta vula hinge chavi ani!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS

MUNHU HI VANHU

You can never mention Tsongarap without mentioning Mthimbhani, whether you hate or love him you can not deny the influence he has ka game leyi. We personally do not like the beefs he has with other rappers ( I do not wanna mentions names, a va humesi heat we will talk about them) because we believe together we can break the market for Tsongarap. Together we believe we can do more and we can demand to even get an airplay or even get a Hip-Hop show that represents Tsongarap hayi makabya ya nwina le ka radio station liya ya le!!! Having said that, game ya Tsongarap yi tight and everyone wants the throne so we are bound to witness egos getting bruised. Now back to the song, Munhu Hi Vanhu released by a rapper from Phalaborwa named Mthimbhani AKA hosi ya Genge lol. He has released emotional songs before but this one hits home and Gelegele Music is proud to say that this is our HEAT OF THE WEEK. The team gave the song an 8/10 and below I will explain where the 8 comes from and where the 2 went, hlayani dyondzani and apply na nwina mi ta humesa ti heat hiku mbodza wa nwina hi karhele hi wona. Apparently ngwenya yi xave studio equipment and it is evident ka nghoma leyi kuri QUALITY na yona yi xap, the songs he dropped after he left MMP were a bit off but this one ya pfumela. Although there are a couple of ‘pops’ here and there, so the producer failed him a bit on that. CONTENT yi sasekile, it is a true story so all he needed was to figure out how to lay the message on the beat and he did just that. His LYRICS and the BEAT were touching, he actually made the song cry and the last time a Tsonga rapper did that was NEVER. He went as far as talking about the time he was sick and his girl took care of him, yiri a yi nuhwa but his girl stayed and took care of him. Va faya n’wana vanhu hi xifula a fela ku dlaya mic, vana va valoyi ma hlupha and mona wa nwina wa chavisa. He started a verse aku ‘let me swallow my pride..’ and goes to even mention some of the people he beef’d with, broke up with and some he is not even sure what happened. But what we love the most is the maturity on this joint and instead of complaining about who did what to fuck up the relationship, he just appreciated the time and the help he got from each and everyone of them. Loko kuve ti EMOTIONS on this song do not move you, tiva leswaku u na mbilu yo biha ende yi fana na ya noyi ani! He did not need to drop BARS or PUNCHLINES, all he needed to do was deliver the message and he did that. Hiku komisa, should you need to drop a joint with the same CONCEPT, worry less about dropping bars and puns, deliver the message from the heart we will connect. Everything mentioned above hi laha 8 yi sukaka kona, now I am sure you would like to know where is the 2. Yingisela, dyondza and apply na wena u ta wisa ku chaya mbodza. This might sound like we are reviewing the artist than the song, but how do we separate the two? It is obvious that as soon as you become famous people will judge you or compare your recent work to your previous. Your capabilities influence our expectations so as unfair as this sounds, this will never change. LANGUAGE yi xap, however Mthimbhani always rhymes hi English and this has become a trend in most if not all of his songs. I am not sure if he is lacking ka vocabulary ya yena ya Xitsonga but he has always rhymed, punched or threw bars hi english ka vunanga bya yena and gelegele team would love to challenge him to change/improve this. The second issue we had was his FLOW, if you do not know him this sounds dope, like I said we can not separate the song from the artist, this to us is a typical Mthimbhani flow. 8 is a distinction, we had to mention where the 2 went marha a swi vuli kuri nghoma ayi cheli ku hisa. This is a HEAT OF THE WEEK and ahi chuhwangi to say so, anyway he MTHIMBHANI Xphola did nothing vhele for wena  kumbe hiswi tshika? hita yingisela ka radio nhlamulo ya wena, get the song on the link below. Speaking of links, why would genge go out of their way to report links every time Mthimbhani drops a joint? Beef is part of the game but nwina se mi onha culture and we would like you to stop that shit. Do not be a sore loser, and I hope this link will not be reported also. GENGE!!!!!!!!!!

XIKWEMBU XALE BUSH

I do not remember the last time I listened to a song with a fear of missing a line, you know that feeling that makes you wanna hold a speaker next to your ear? yup, that was me listening to this joint. DSK is a rapper from Bushbuckridge and he is definitely claiming his hometown for real. A Bush, le a Mpumalanga where they whistle loko va valavula xitsonga. What a beautiful dialect, one of my favorite ka ti-dialect ta Xitsonga. DSK is claiming kuri yena hi yena Xikwembu Xale Bush when it comes to this TSONGARAP ish, and gelegele music team could not help but agree with him. This is our HEAT OF THE WEEK and we would like to take you through the path we used to get here, yingisela u tshika kuva dzinga-ndeve. Xo sungula, BEAT leyi a yi twali kuri ya mbeya? do we really have to spell it out marha. The type of beat that makes you wanna hit the road and run, or lift some heavy weights nwina mi rhandzaku tinsimbhi. Xiyisa lexi made sure to hit you bar after bar and punchline after punchline topped up with an amazing energy. This is how you prove kuri u Xikwembu a kasi ra wena not hi mbodza kumbe beef. ‘tolo ani rhinga na Jesu uri hita hlangana crossini(cross)’is a crazy line that made me rewind and start over the song, then I heard a slang xo chela ku hisa just when the song started. ‘lo mfana lo funa mina lo mali la first’ hahaha WTF is he saying? ‘who cares?, shit is provocative’ ku vula gelegele. He goes again and say you can not go toe to toe with him hi ku ‘uta fana na vhilwa ra movha u helela ndleleni’ need I say more kumbe wa pfumela kuri DSK i XIkwembu Xale Bush?. Well if you do not agree, gelegele music challenges you to drop something better. Although I do not personally love the CONCEPT hiku is a typical rapper’s concept, the team feels like it was fitting because he was challenging anyone and everyone who thinks otherwise about his THRONE le a Bush. FLOW is too easy and it compliments the beat and his energy, and because this is your typical ‘performance song’ the EMOTIONS were easy to tap into. In fact the energy triggers the EMOTIONS and when it comes to DSK you can never doubt his energy. This is actually the team’s favorite song because the usage ya LANGUAGE ya XITSONGA was 100% and it has been a while since we had a jam like this. The team named this song our HEAT OF THE WEEK with an 8/10 rating, and that is pretty impressive. Byela DSK ata hlamusela kuri leswa ‘lo mfana lo mfana’ swivula yini hiku swi chela ku hisa. Xikwembu Xa ti Reviews xi gimeta kwala, hita hlangana ka ti comments. Gasi!!!!!!!!!!!

UNI ENDLA YINI

Gelegele Music took a Shot’Left hi ya jika le ka Xigalo, yes we know mihleketa magelegele ma le 2BY2 ( a famous tarven) when we mention the village. But no majita ahi yela ti heat, CVP THE PROBLEM is a rapper from the very same hood. He should be the Hosi YA Magelegele but ngwenya yiti komba ingaku ya chava vavasati, anyway that is a topic for another day. We went there hi mhaka ya mali, and we got an idea of how she(money) looks like. Uni Endla Yini is CVP’s latest release featuring Leo Bee who is also not new in the game. On paper, this is a dope song because both these artists are great ka movement and genre ya TSONGARAP. Could have been a heat, could have been mbodza wa vhiki but neither, so you know that only means this is our IN BETWEEN YA VHIKI and here is why. The team was not really impressed hi QUALITY ya joint considering the names behind it starting from the producer and the artists, we are not sure if it is the mastering or perhaps the studio recorded at but it does not meet their caliber. I really loved the intro of the song though haha, Leo Bee sounding like a Shoprite employee whilst CVP an angry client on the queue with cash is classic. The BEAT is dope and I loved the transition and it allowed the song to breathe and elevate at the right places, Jnz Beats did very well. The HOOK is not catchy enough, it is kinda plain and I expected that considering that both these rappers are hardcore rappers. One could say they could not wait to get into their raps so they rushed the hook, or should I say they did not put more work/words on it.  CONCEPT yi chela ku hisa and we can all relate to it, and the dope move was personifying mali so it allowed them to address it/her hi ndlela ya catchy. There are two things the team noticed from CVP’s verse and was not impressed about, xo sungula is the usage ya LANGUAGE. We feel he delivers the message better hi XITSONGA and it sounds interesting than he does in English, and xa vumbirhi is the way he recorded. Yes we love the energy but he recorded like he is performing and you can hear him lose his breath here and there. So he needs to come up with a way of keeping the energy whilst controlling his breathing which is where his producer was supposed to come in and help. Leo Bee was average, he did not go as hard and I expected these two to go at it like crazy, maybe it is the concept of the song who knows?. However when it comes to FLOW and BARZ, both these rappers did not disappoint. The song is not bad, it just did not meet our expectations because we know both these names and what they are capable of. Did we expect too much? are we being too hard on them? would this song be a heat if recorded by a less known artist? kumbe hi mhaka kuri ro xavisa so we expected more than average?  MAYBE!!!. Well tell us what you think on the comment section, team yi hume na score xa 5/10 which makes it our IN BETWEEN YA VHIKI. Xava nghoma on the link below uti twela hi wexe, relax it is only R5 and since you claim to support TSONGARAP you can now put your money where your mouth is. ‘loko munhu ari hava mali a suki layinini phela hina hi siyi vanhu le handle’ ku vula CVP a jaheli magelegele ma le 2BY2. Hina hita vuyela gasini hi vito ra gelegele music.

UTANI TSUNDZUKA

What a breath of fresh air, the team ya gelegele music has been waiting for this sound for a very long time. loko hi vulavula hi Xitsonga Urban Music hi vula swilo swo fana na leswi, and I am glad I have a perfect example. Lady Presh, who is not really new in the game, she has released a couple of nice joints a while back. She has given us something new, something fresh and definitely something to brag about. The last time I heard a pure RnB song from Mutsonga was by TK Mhinga, may her soul RIP. Lady Presh gave us a traditional RnB song, starting from a BEAT selection to the CONTENT (concept). Swa ma love love i swilo swa RnB, unfortunately la aku tshikiwa bhari. This is a sad love song where she speaks about letting go, since ngwenya ayi tsandzeka ku tsakisa wa tati, she is threatening to leave his ass. Utani Tsundzuka is our HEAT OF THE WEEK and here below we will give you the reasons why it is, having said that, we do have a couple of concerns that we feel she and her producers Mellowkid and Subzer could have done better. The QUALITY is very good, you can actually hear every single line and also her vocals are balanced and sounds easy on the beat. The CONCEPT is a typical RnB concept and she played safe which is the right thing considering kuri mjolo wu hi mbeya hinkwerhu so it is easy to connect to. The LANGUAGE u hi tsoni nyana sesi, if you listen well the lines that hit home are written hi XITSONGA and they are more powerful, I am here imagining this song hi XITSONGA from the 1st line to the last. However this does not mean the the lyrics are bad, I just feel like they would have been 10 times better if she gave us 80% ya Xitsonga then 20% ya English. Her FLOW went in smoothly with the BEAT also, S/O to Subzer on that as well. The only issue we had a problem with was the usage ya auto tune, it is not necessary to have more of it if the lady can sing without it. It also made the song lose EMOTIONS, if you do not listen carefully you would think that this is a happy song. Her voice is not sad enough, the emotions lacked and the team feels like the auto tune did not help but worsen the situation as well. But the team rated the song 7/10 which means with all these concerns it is still our HEAT OF THE WEEK. Listen to the song below and tell us what you think on the comment section. Hosi ya magelegele ya vulavula!!!!!

XATI FELA

I have heard a couple of times Blvc Vce (pronounced Black Ace) say this sound is not his comfort zone, or it is different to what he is used to. And for the second or third time the team ya gelegele music is saying kuri either jaha leri ri chava ku endla ti hit or he must tap out of his comfort zone because every time he does so u endla ti hit. 1st it was a hit called Vuya, a song with a lady with a beautiful voice MissK, Blvc Vce ‘this is outta my comfort zone’ sweswi i Xati Fela and that nigga is still saying the same thing. Kumbe yo tonga ku tiva mani, whatever the reason is hina hiri your ‘this is not my comfort zone’is your hit zone so stick to it. Urban Music wa Xitsonga ahi vuli Hip Hop ntsena kumbe House Music, hi vulavula hi vunanga bya so. Now before hi hangalaka let us give you reasons why Xati Fela is our HEAT OF THE WEEK. 1st is the BEAT, easy to the ear with less complications and when you think of this on a live set swilo swinga dlaya. 2nd is the CONCEPT, yes it has been used before but the approach is different and the LANGUAGE is not formal, he used our day to day slang (which is what we love too,if you read our reviews you will pick up kuri swa grammar kumbe xilungu xo dlaya ahi xikoti hina and ahi na mhaka lol). And one thing he has been consistent on i QUALITY and he is very audible which makes it easy to listen to. Although I must mention that I was not entirely happy hi ti BackUps ta the lady featured Hopey B,they were a bit loud and sometimes it was hard to hear her beautiful voice go,and I personally feel she was holding back. I was expecting her to burst out and elevate the song, am I sounding like Randall now ni swi tshika because leyi ahi IDOLS i Gelegele Music? Alright ke, listen to the song on link and tell us what you think. Hina hiri i HEAT OF THE WEEK marha ani nwina swilo swa kahle ma chava. Hosi ya Magelegele ya vulavula.
